How much does a treatment cost?
1 hour £40.00
* 45mins £35.00
What will the initial session involve?
A full medical history as well as personal details will be taken. We will then discuss any pain you may be experiencing. I will then carry out any relevant assessments to identify areas to treat. Treatment will then continue using a combination of specific techniques, depending on your needs.
What do I need to wear for a treatment?
Please make sure you wear loose fitting clothing, as I will need to access as much skin as possible. You will be covered with a towel to keep you warm with only the area being treated left exposed.
Can I bring someone with me?
You are very welcome to bring someone with you but please be aware that there is limited space so only one additional person.
How often should I have a treatment / How many treatments will I need?
Everyone is different so depending on you and your needs you may need anything from one treatment once every 6 weeks to once a week but I will discuss this with you.
If I have an existing medical condition; can I still have a treatment?
This is dependent on the medical condition and in some circumstances you may need a letter from a doctor or consultant before having treatment. Please contact me to discuss your requirements, and wheen I cannot carry out a treatment I will explain why.
I have a recent injury; can a treatment be given straight away?
Please contact me so we can discuss this in more detail. I can then advise you on the best course of action to take.
What if I need to cancel a treatment?
Please contact me as soon as possible to cancel an appointment and to rearrange a more convenient time. Preferably this would be 24 hours notice but I understand that this is not always possible.
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash payments and also debit and credit card payments through iZettle.
Do I need to be an athlete to have a Sports Massage?
The term ’sports massage’ can be misleading as the majority of people I treat have occupational related issues e.g. chronic pain due to poor posture from sitting at a desk all day. You may think that your ailments are down to age and stress but often these changes in posture have happened over a period of time. All treatment sessions are tailored to your needs and aim to reduce any pain you may be experiencing, release tension and restrictions as well as improve your flexibility and range of motion.
What should I wear?
Something comfortable that you can move easily in and trainers are recommended.
